My background includes more than twenty years in education & training. I began my professional life at the New York City Department of Health and continued to work in areas of public health, health education, communications and coaching. My experience speaking with women around the country as a novelist and the published author of Restless in L.A. led to the creation and founding of HEART. SOUL. PEN. I discovered a vast unmet need among people, women especially, for permission to express themselves creatively and authentically, to share their stories, and to be in community. Check out the options below to get involved in the HEART. SOUL. PEN. community:
1) Enroll in HEART. SOUL. PEN. 8-Week signature course: All levels from beginner to experienced writers welcome. Summer courses available: Monday afternoons 1-3:30/Tuesday evenings 7-9:30 pm/Wednesday afternoons 1-3:30. More info here.

“I am not overstating when I say that having Robin Finn as a private coach has been life changing for me. She has helped me identify my goals and intentions, she has given me specific tools to help me accomplish them, and she’s a never-ending font of inspiration. She has also helped me edit my work, write an effective query letter, navigate the publishing world, publish personal essays, speak in public with confidence, and vanquish the many personal demons I’ve carried around in my brain for years. I wish I could meet with her every day!”
